Forest Bathing Hawai'i's walks have been named one of the top five travel experiences in the world by Forbes and are recommended by The New York Times. They are led by Hawai'i's first certified forest therapy guide, Phyllis Look.
While we're all following stay-at-home orders to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus, I'll be offering regular live, online nature therapy experiences. These approximately hour long sessions are hosted on the free videoconferencing app Zoom and you may participate from a green space near you (even your own backyard) or from inside your home (where you might find a potted plant or a view of the outside). I'll be at an outdoor location and sharing with you through the screen some of Hawaiʻi's healing natural beauty.
Once we're allowed to gather again, please join me on a gentle, mindful walk into nature where we'll be opening our senses and inviting a reconnection with the more-than-human world, with our own nature, and with others.
Locations include the verdant rain forest of the 200-acre Lyon Arboretum, and a garden and forest created by a local artist with exclusive access into his art gallery following the walk.
