Sara joined the Association and attended the Forest Therapy Guide training intensive in 2016 and has worked diligently alongside the leadership to grow the Association from a U.S. based company to the international leader in Forest Therapy Guide training. Her other work has included contributing to the development of Forest Bathing International and management of the Center for Restorative Processes. Sara acquired a degree in Human Services, worked in student counseling and teaching which along with her business experience enables her to provide influential guidance and support. Sara advocates for holistic healing, human connection and our inherent responsibility to protect and nourish our natural resources and environments. Sara is a lover of nature and believes that this connection is necessary to her well-being as well as others. When not nurturing these connections in others she is likely communing with the forest or oceans.
