Carlos is a guide, mentor and trainer-in-training with ANFT, and the co-founder of "Through The Trees" in Maine. Carlos has been guiding Forest Therapy walks and running Forest and Nature Therapy programs for youth and adults through his organization and through partnerships created with area schools since 2017. He has been a teacher of the ancient healing and protective arts for the past 25 years experiencing and benefiting from the effective healing energy and wisdom of nature. This practice has shaped his vision and fuels his passion to create and hold a sacred and brave space where people can begin to cultivate and mend their relationships with themselves, time, and the more than human world. His love of nature and all it has to offer is matched and fueled by his wife and partner, Elizabeth, and his son Marcus.
