YMCA of the Rockies sits in the heart of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The campus is surrounded on 3 sides by Rocky Mountain National Park. The views of the spectacular snow capped peaks are visible from most of the land here. There are pristine rivers flowing from the high mountains. Large, old growth Ponderosa Pine, Fir, and Aspen trees sit upon the land. It is very common to see the abundant wildlife here including elk, deer and moose. Although the campus may look busy on the YMCA website, our cabin/house is tucked away on the edge of the property and backs up to secluded land/trails with beautiful rivers, trees and lush land. It is a delightful place for the practice of Forest Therapy.
